Professional Experience Year Co-op Program (PEY Co-op)
PEY Co-op is a 12 - 16 month paid co-op program open to 2nd & 3rd year undergraduate students. Students should begin their work terms between May-September. Our industry partners acknowledge the value and benefit of hiring PEY Co-op students and view the 12- 16 month model as an excellent return on investment.
Engineering Summer Internship Program (ESIP)
The Engineering Summer Internship Program (ESIP) is a 4-month paid summer co-op open to 2nd & 3rd year engineering students. Students should work from May-August to fulfil their 600 hour work term graduation requirement.

Guidelines for registering for an account on the Engineering Career Centre portal. Kindly review prior to submitting your registration request.
We require the following information about the organization:
Business email address
Website with information that defines what the business does and how it operates
Physical office location
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we recognize the majority of work terms are taking place remotely. As such we are temporarily removing this requirement.Employers are encouraged to onboard students remotely followed by a work from home arrangement, until otherwise advised by public health authorities
In order to hire our students, organizations are required to provide the following:
Able to offer a full-time (minimum of 35 hours per week), paid position with set learning objectives for Co-op/internship roles
Provide work responsibilities that are relevant to the student’s studies
Issue an official offer letter or contract to successful hires
Be able to implement a solid on-boarding and training plan for new hires
The student should have a direct supervisor/mentor that will schedule regular 1:1 feedback meetings
Complete evaluation requirements provided by the ECC (Co-op/internship programs only)
